Annual inflation in Türkiye in December amounted to 2.93% on a monthly basis and 64.77% on an annual basis, Report informs referring to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK).
At the same time, the independent Inflation Research Group (ENAG) states that the figure exceeded 127.21% on an annual basis and 4.12 on a monthly basis.
According to the forecasts of the Turkish Central Bank, inflation in the country by the end of 2023 was projected at 65.39%.
