Ambassador: France seeks to halt operations of Russian House in Paris

France is attempting to completely obstruct the activities of the Russian House in Paris by freezing its accounts, Russian Ambassador to France Alexey Meshkov told RIA Novosti, Report informs.

"Currently, there are efforts underway to fully suspend the activities of the Russian House by freezing its accounts. We are in the midst of challenging negotiations with the French authorities on this matter, particularly since the Russian House functions legally here under a bilateral agreement, and the French Cultural Center operates in Russia. This represents a negative progression of recent events," he said.
