Almost 90,000 new COVID cases registered in US

The number of registered cases of coronavirus infection in the United States has exceeded 27 million, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University.
According to the university, the number of coronavirus cases has reached 27,008,096, while the death toll is 463,482.
As many as 86,928 people in the United States have contracted coronavirus over the past day.
Meanwhile, 1,268 patients with COVID-19 have succumbed to the deadly pathogen.
The US surpassed the 26 million mark on January 30.
