Afghanistan air strikes: Over 35 people died

More than 35 civilians were killed on Monday night as a result of airstrikes of foreign troops in the Gizab District in the Urozgan Province of Afghanistan. Report informs citing the RIA Novosti, member of the local parliament Kudratulla Rahimi.
"More than 35 civilians died as a result of air strikes in the village of Halj in the Gizab district," Rahimi said.
According to local residents, the air strikes were launched after American troops raided the Taliban militant group fortification, but were repulsed.
The source added that one of the senior Taliban commanders Mulla Nasrullah was among the dead.
