Afghan army liberates southern area from Taliban

Afghan government forces liberated Garmsir County in Helmand province in the south of the country from militants of the radical Taliban movement, a spokesman for the Afghan Defense Ministry Fawad Aman said, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.

"The Afghan National Army today liberated the Garmsir area of ​​Helmand province from the control of Taliban terrorists.
