US coronavirus: Confirmed cases exceed 6 mln

More than 33.8 thousand new Covid-19 infections were recorded over the past day in the United States; almost 600 people have died. Report informs citing the Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities and the media, and other open sources.

According to the University, in the past 24 hours, 33,888 new cases registered, and 594 have lost their lives.

Since the beginning of the epidemic, 6,031,287 cases of coronavirus infection have been detected throughout the country, over 183,000 patients fell victim to the virus. More than 2 million have recovered.
