About 1.5 billion coronavirus jabs administered globally

So far, about 1.5 billion coronavirus vaccine shots have been administered in the world, Report informs, citing Johns Hopkins University, which summarizes data from federal and local authorities, media, and other open sources.
According to the university, 1,507,616,196 coronavirus jabs have been administered globally. The total number of registered infection cases has reached 164 million. Since the beginning of the pandemic, the viral disease has taken almost 3.4 million lives. The highest number of infections were detected in the United States (about 33 million), where over half a million died due to COVID-related health complications. India ranks second with over 25 million cases, and a death toll of over 200,000. Brazil comes third with over 15 million infections and more than 400,000 deaths.
