An earthquake of magnitude 5.8 was recorded off the coast of Indonesia, Report informs with reference to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center
The epicenter was located 191 km southwest of the city of Pariaman – home to 92,100 people. The source lay at a depth of 42 km.
There were no reports of casualties or damage. The quake did not cause a tsunami threat.
