5.4 magnitude earthquake strikes Japan

An earthquake of magnitude 5.4 was registered off the coast of Japan on Friday, Report informs, citing the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center.
The epicenter was 621 km southeast of the city of Yokosuka with a population of about 428,000 people, on the island of Honshu. The source was at a depth of 60 km.
There were no reports of damage or a tsunami threat.
