An earthquake of magnitude 5.2 was recorded in Nepal today, the Nepalese Center for Seismological Research and Measurements said, Report informs via TASS.
According to the center, the epicenter was in the Bajur region, 214 km northeast of the Indian city of Lakhimpur, with a population of about 140,000 people.
Information about the victims and destruction has not yet been received.
On January 24, an earthquake of magnitude 5.9 struck the same area.
