At least 19 climbers have been evacuated from the world's seventh-highest peak -- Dhaulagiri -- 345 kilometers (214 miles) west of Everest. Report informs, citing The Hindustan Times, that of them, seven tested positive, and 12 others were scheduled to take a test after showing symptoms.

On Everest, too, 30 people have been evacuated from base camp and subsequently tested positive after April, according to Polish climber Pawel Michalski's Facebook post.

There are around 1,500 people in the first base camp, including 408 climbers training to conquer Everest. About 100 more people are in the second base camp, training to climb Lhotse (8,516 m). Healthcare workers who examined the climbers warned them that they should not travel between camps, should wear masks all the time and should give up climbing in case of respiratory diseases.
