18 people hospitalized in Italy due to large hail

Wind, heavy rain and large hail struck the Adriatic coast of Italy this morning, in the city of Pescara, 18 people turned to the hospitals with injuries and wounds, Report informs citing the RIA Novosti. The victims, including a pregnant woman, were mostly injured to the head and face.

In Pescara, hail caused damage to the roofs, windows of houses and cars. Movement in the city is difficult because of water flow.

Similar problems with flooding are observed in other cities of the region.
