17 people die in minubus crash in Bangladesh

At least 17 people were killed when a minibus caught fire after ramming into a bus on a highway in Bangladesh's Rajshahi city, some 256 km west of the capital Dhaka, on Friday, a senior police official said, Report informs, citing Xinhua.
Rajshahi Metropolitan Police's Chief Information Officer Md Golam Ruhul Quddus said the head-on collision between the passenger bus and the minibus also left some passengers critically injured.
He said the minibus caught fire in the accident and its passengers were unable to exit.
All the injured were rushed to a local hospital, he said, adding that the cause of the accident was under investigation.
