11 people injured in grenade explosion in Philippines

At least one person died and 11 were injured as a grenade exploded in the province of Misamis Oriental in the Southern Philippines, Report informs citing the TASS.

According to local authorities, the explosion occurred on the territory of a college. A police officer was killed during the attack.

The victims of the explosion were taken to hospital. Investigation is underway to establish the circumstances of the incident.
