Presidential Aide, State Border Service Chief visit contact line with Armenia

Assistant to the Azerbaijani President, Head of the Military Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration Maharram Aliyev and Chief of the State Border Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev have visited the military units and divisions of Gazakh separate border division of the Azerbaijani SBS, which protects the Azerbaijani state border with Armenia in the direction of Gazakh and Agstafa districts.

During the visit, the officials inspected the implementation of the instructions of the Azerbaijani President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev, reviewed the service and living conditions of border guards and met with the officers serving at the border checkpoints on the line of contact with the enemy, SBS told Report.

The Presidential Aide and the SBS Chief held a meeting with the leadership of Gazakh separate border division. They gave relevant instructions to strengthen the combat readiness of military units and divisions, ensure the inviolability of the state border and the safety of personnel, and raise the fighting spirit of the border guards.
