"There are many challenges, there is a key to giving a positive impetus to the process," OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister for Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák said at a news conference in Yerevan.

Report informs citing Armenian media that, according to him, during Slovakia's presidency in the OSCE, the Minsk Group will seek to find ways to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and support theco-chairs' activity: "Our goal is to build a secure future. From the beginning of Slovakia's chairmanship, I traveled to the region to listen to people and familiarize with the situation. It is important to create an atmosphere of confidence, prepare the population for peace and continue the meetings."

Lajčák welcomed the decrease of violence on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

Notably, Lajčák paid visit to Azerbaijan on March 5.
