One of Nagorno-Karabakh separatists fled to US

Baku. 15 January. REPORT.AZ/ Former Armenian parliamentarian Arakel Movsisyan (Shmays) fled to the United States with his family.

Report informs citing the Jamanak that he does not plan to return to his country.

Movsisyan said that he has a debt in the amount of $1.5 million in Armenia: “I have sold the market and my wedding palace to pay off the debt."

But the real estate of former deputy has not been sold yet. The newspaper writes that Movsisyan fled to the US in order to escape from paying debts.

Notably, Movsisyan participated in the occupation of the Nagorno-Karabakh region and surrounding regions of Azerbaijan.
