Head of Executive Power informs OSCE representatives about provocations of Armenians

"I informed the OSCE delegation about the provocations that Armenian armed forces have committed on the frontline over the past few days," Head of Agdam District Executive Power Vagif Hasanov told Karabakh Center of Report.

Hasanov met with field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ognjen Jovic, Simon Tiller and a representative of the High Level Planning Group (HLPG) lieutenant-colonel Harry O'Connor on June 25.

The head of the Executive Power said that Armenians along with firing on the civilian population near the front line they set fire to the occupied Azerbaijani lands: "Several days ago, Armenians set a fire again. The fire also spread to the cemetery of Mirashalli village of Agdam region. The local population and the Aghdam Region Executive Power were mobilized to fight fire and it was extinguished. Thus, the fire was prevented from entering grain and private homes. I informed the OSCE representatives about the provocations committed by the Armenians near the front line. They will also convey our thoughts to the OSCE leadership."

Notably, in accordance with the mandate of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, the delegation is monitoring the line of contact of the Azerbaijani and Armenian troops today.

The delegation includes field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Ognjen Jovic, Simon Tiller and a representative of the High Level Planning Group (HLPG) lieutenant-colonel Harry O'Connor.

On the Azerbaijani territories occupied and controlled by Armenian armed forces, the monitoring conducted by field assistants of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Mihail Olaru, Ghennadie Petrica, Martin Schuster and a representative of the HLPG lieutenant-colonel Ralph Bosshard.
