Permanent Representative: "Communication stage on Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev's case has been completed"

"The complaint regarding Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev held hostage by Armenia was sent to the European Court and the Azerbaijani government is also participating in this process," Chingiz Asgarov, Head of the Human Rights Protection Sector of the Department on Work with Law Enforcement Agencies at the Presidential Administration, Permanent Representative of Azerbaijan to the European Court of Human Rights said to journalists.

He noted that the whole communication stage has already been completed: "We expect the European Court to express its position this year. Meanwhile, events were held in the Council of Europe regarding Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev and this week our delegation to PACE will inform deputies about the position of Azerbaijan in this issue."
