Chairman-in-Office: OSCE is a useful tool in conflict resolution

Baku. 5 March. REPORT.AZ/ "It is necessary to use OSCE as a useful tool in resolving conflicts. One of the three priorities of Slovakia's chairmanship in the OSCE for this year is conflict resolution," OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajčák said.

Report informs that he spoke at a joint press conference following a meeting with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov.

"I want to declare the readiness and intention of the OSCE to contribute to the settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. We continue to meet as part of the settlement process. This has promoted reduction in tensions in the conflict zone," the OSCE Chairman - in-Office said and expressed hope that he will be able to convey Baku's statements to the Armenian side during the upcoming visit to Yerevan.
