President: Azerbaijan will not take a step back from its principled position

"We have sent relevant appeals to international organizations. As soon as the operational situation permits, we will invite foreign military representatives operating in Azerbaijan to the area so that they can see the situation with their own eyes. Let them see who committed this military instigation, what happened as a result of this military provocation, and who is responsible for the escalation of the situation," said President Ilham Aliyev while addressing the Security Council's meeting.
"Ours is a cause of justice, and Azerbaijan will not take a step back from its principled position," the President said.

Notably, starting from the afternoon on July 12, units of the Armenian armed forces, grossly violating the ceasefire on the direction of the Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani-Armenian state border, subjected to fire on our positions using artillery mounts.
