Armenian provocation against Azerbaijanis in US comes to grief

Provocation by Armenians against our compatriots in New York,  US has failed, local Bureau of Report says.

The intentions of  Armenians, who prepared a plan of provocation by spreading information about the mass rally in the local US media and social networks, calling on our compatriots to confront, were thwarted.

Hundreds of Armenians gathered on 3th Avenue, one of the central streets of Manhattan, New York. Some of them even had rubber batons. Armenians, who tried to make a fuss in the area for a long time, were ignored by the local community. Moreover, any local media covered the mass action.

New York police were dispatched to the scene. Our compatriots, complying with the Azerbaijani Embassy's call in Washington, did not go the area of protest. The Armenians, who had a three-hour permit for the rally, disbanded an hour later as their provocative plans failed.
