Speaker: MPs should not think themselves superior

It is a great honor to be a member of the Milli Majlis (Parliament). I think it is a greater honor to be a deputy in a country led by President Ilham Aliyev, Speaker of the Parliament Sahiba Gafarova said at today's meeting.

According to her, Azerbaijan has achieved great successes during the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev: "I think you remember President's speech at the first meeting of the parliament of the 6th convocation. We tried to build the parliament's activity upon the recommendations of the head of state. We all should understand that being an MP is a responsibility. MPs should not think themselves superior. I express my deep regret over Eldaniz Salimov's actions."
