Rules for granting permission on construction of advertising structures changed

Baku. 28 January. REPORT.AZ/ The procedure for issuing advertising permits has been simplified in Azerbaijan.

Report informs that the town-planning and construction legislation of the Azerbaijan Republic is amended in this regard.

In line with Article 81 of the Code (Granting permission for the construction of advertising structures), the permit for the construction, installation, mounting of advertising structures, regardless of the size of the open space, is issued by the body established by the relevant executive authority. In order to obtain permission for construction, the customer shall apply to the body established by the relevant executive authority.

The amendment does not require obtaining construction permits if the area intended for advertisement is less than 60 square meters.

The project will be debated at the first plenary meeting to be held on February 1 during the spring session of Milli Majlis.
