Parliamentarian: 'Azerbaijan should establish a control post in the Lachin corridor'

"Azerbaijan should establish a control post on the Lachin corridor," a member of the Milli Majlis (parliament), Fazail Aghamali, said at today's plenary session, according to Report.

"The peacekeepers in Karabakh, their commander, do not dare to act independently. They receive all instructions from the military-political leadership of Russia. Azerbaijan's natural resources are smuggled, and instead, weapons are brought to the territory of Azerbaijan - Karabakh. Who are doing this? Armenian supporters, Armenian fascists. Who patronize it? There are peacekeeping forces temporarily stationed in the territory of Azerbaijan... They are not peacekeepers. They are pro-Armenian forces. We should establish our control post on the Lachin Corridor without hesitation. It is clear from the press that yesterday 14 people from Iran who have no identity, deeds, or intentions came to Khankandi. They can be the agents of Iran's special services. Why did they come there?"
