Number of cases when temporary residence period extended for foreigners increased

The number of cases when the period of temporary stay for foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan are increased, Report informs that the Migration Code is amended in this regard.

According to the amendment to Article 40 of the Code (cases when the period of temporary stay for foreigners and stateless persons in the Republic of Azerbaijan foreigners are extended), the period of temporary residence is extended for a foreigner or stateless person if this period is extended for his/her father, mother, spouse, child, brother and sister.

The draft amendment will be discussed at the plenary session of the Milli Majlis.
