Milli Majlis' plenary meeting kicks off

The Azerbaijani parliament (Milli Majlis) is holding the next plenary meeting of the spring session.

The agenda of the meeting presided over by Speaker Sahiba Gafarova includes 19 issues, Report informs.

The meeting will first consider the annual report of the National Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.

The meeting will discuss draft amendments to the following laws on:

"Status of servicemen," "Freedom of religion," "Perpetuating of the name of the martyr and concessions to the families of martyrs,"

"Status and social protection of citizens who participated in the liquidation of the Chernobyl accident and suffered as a result of the accident," "The status of internal troops," "Veterans," "Registration by place of residence and location," "Status of a deputy of the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan," "Land reform," "Social insurance."
