Milli Majlis deputies to visit liberated territories

The session of the Committee on Agrarian Policy of Azerbaijan's Milli Majlis has been held today.

Report informs that Committee Chairman Tahir Rzayev said the agenda of the event includes two issues - a report on work done in the committee on agrarian policy during the spring and extraordinary sessions of Milli Majlis 2021 and the draft plan of the committee's activities for the autumn session of 2021.

The committee chairman noted that along with the bills to be submitted to the committee, the upcoming session is expected to consider the bill on food safety. All the same, the participants will get acquainted with the agrarian situation in the liberated territories, discuss main issues in agricultural sector development and hold hearings on the process of work in the agricultural sector with the participation of the Ministry of Agriculture.

The session involved the Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Agrarian Policy Sabir Hajiyev, MPs Igbal Mammadov and Emin Hajiyev.
