Elman Rustamov to be relieved of his duties as Central Bank Chairman

Today, the Parliamentary Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship focused on the President's motions regarding the dismissal of Elman Rustamov from the Central Bank and the appointment of Taleh Kazimov as a member of the Central Bank.

The Committee on Economic Policy, Industry, and Entrepreneurship approved both motions and recommended them for discussion at the Plenary Session of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan.

Rustamov is currently a member and chairman of the Central Bank. He will be relieved of his post as a member of the Board and as the chairman of the Central Bank.
