Duties of municipalities on construction of cemeteries defined

Baku. 19 October. REPORT.AZ/ The next meeting of the Parliamentary Committee on Regional Issues has been held today.

Report informs that Chairman of the committee Arif Rahimzadeh commented on the draft amendments to the law "On Local (Municipal) Taxes and Payments". He said that the draft law passed by the President of the country as a legislative initiative was prepared over the application of the Law "On the State Register of Real Estate" dated 13 February 2018

Then, members of the committee discussed the amendments on the draft law "On the status of municipalities" and "On principles of municipal finance" in the third reading. It was noted that the changes made in both documents define the responsibilities of municipalities in the issues on construction and management of cemeteries.
