Factor preventing recognition of Azerbaijan's driving licenses abroad eliminated

Baku. 1 February. REPORT.AZ/ The factor preventing the recognition of Azerbaijan's driving licenses abroad has been eliminated.

Report informs that the bill on amendments to the law has been discussed at the Milli Majlis meeting today.

It was noted that the information on the driving license will be duplicated in English. At the moment, the presence of letters "a", "ğ", "ö", "ü" that are nonexistent in Latin alphabet, in the driving licenses in Azerbaijani prevent the recognition of certificates abroad.

The project was put to vote and adopted.
