CEC chief: 1,534 candidates for deputy registered so far

"To date, 1534 candidates have been registered for deputy," Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said at today's meeting on "Media coverage of elections".

Report quotes Panahov as saying that a record number of candidates were registered for participation in these extraordinary elections in the Milli Majlis compared with the previous parliamentary elections.
