Azerbaijani Parliament adopts statement on resolution of French Senate - UPDATED

The statement prepared by the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan regarding the resolution of the French Senate dated November 15, 2022 has been approved.

According to Report, the text of the statement was read out by MP Ramin Mammadov.

The document was put to a vote and accepted.

Ninety-five MPs voted in favor of the statement and 1 MP voted against.

A commission was established in the Milli Majlis (Parliament) to prepare a statement regarding the resolution adopted by the French Senate, Report informs.

Samad Seyidov, Chairman of the International and Inter-Parliamentary Relations Committee, has been appointed Head of the Commission.

The Commission, which has already started preparing the statement, includes MPs Zahid Oruj, Sabir Hajiyev, Asim Mollazadeh, Sadagat Valiyeva, and Ramin Mammadov.
