Azerbaijan sets new duties for granting work permit to foreigners

Azerbaijani parliament has today discussed the amendments to Law on State duty at the plenary meeting.

Report informs the amendments envisage granting or extending work permit for foreigners.

According to the amendments, the work permit will be as follows:

AZN 700 for granting work permit for three months within 10 days

AZN 900 for granting work permit for six months within 10 days

AZN 1,400 for granting work permit for a year within 10 days

AZN 500 for granting work permit for three months within 15 days

AZN 700 for granting work permit for six months within 15 days

AZN 1,200 for granting work permit for a year within 15 days

AZN 350 for granting work permit for three months within 20 days

AZN 600 for granting work permit for six months within 20 days

AZN 1,000 for granting work permit for a year within 20 days

The draft law was adopted after voting.

The amendment is expected to enter into force on July 1.
