Azerbaijan may abolish need criterion

"Azerbaijan has an indicator of the subsistence level and the need criterion. The main goal is to equate the need criterion to the subsistence level," the Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov said at today's plenary session of the Parliament, Report informs.
Today, the Azerbaijani Parliament discussed the draft law "On the state budget for 2022" in the second reading.
According to Samir Sharifov, the need criterion can be abolished in Azerbaijan, as in many countries.
