Autumn session of Milli Majlis gets underway

The first plenary meeting of the autumn session of Milli Majlis has kicked off.

Report informs that Speaker Sahiba Gafarova declared the session open.

The agenda of the session includes 15 issues.

The deputies are expected to adopt a statement in connection with the anniversary of the Patriotic War outbreak.

A bill on the approval of a memorandum in connection with the exercises of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the Special Forces of Turkey will also be considered.

In addition, the parliamentarians will discuss amendments to the Tax, Customs and Civil Codes, to the laws "On customs tariff," "On immortalizing the names of martyrs and granting benefits to martyr families," "On social protection of children who have lost their parents and children deprived of parental care." "On the state duty," "On currency regulation," "On credit unions," "On banks," "On the post office," "On accounting," "On insurance activities," "On non-bank credit organizations," "On investment funds, "On the securities market," "On credit bureaus," "On public health protection," "On bankruptcy," "On theaters and theatrical activities," "On employment" and others.

The autumn session of the parliament will last until December 30.
