Azerbaijani parliament speaker: Some forces try to cast shadow on EU-Azerbaijan agreement

"President Ilham Aliyev repeatedly stated that Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can be settled within the framework of the territorial integrity of our country. This is possible either through peace or through war. Some forces are trying to cast shadow on the agreement to be signed between Azerbaijan and EU," chairman of the Committee on Public Unions and Religious Structures of the parliament, deputy executive secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party Siyavush Novruzov said. 

He said these forces are doing so under various pretenses.

He noted that there are also the forces inside the country that try to hinder the signing of this agreement.

Azerbaijani Parliament Speaker Oqtay Asadov said, in turn, that the agreement signing is hindered by Armenians: "The territory of Nagorno-Karabakh is mentioned as the territory of Azerbaijan in the draft agreement, this is our success. There are technical problems that are solvable. Armenians are trying to block this agreement."
