President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva join march on Remembrance Day held in Baku

A march on the occasion of Remembrance Day took place in Baku on September 27 as a sign of respect to the memory of soldiers and officers who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, as well as civilians who died during the Patriotic War and missing people.

Report informs that Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva took part in the event.

A military march has started in downtown Baku on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, Report informs.

The march started from Azadliq Square and continues along November 8 Avenue.

The servicemen are holding posters that show pictures of heroic martyrs of the Patriotic War.
