First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva has shared a post on her official Instagram page on the occasion of June 26 - Armed Forces Day, Report informs.

The publication reads:

"Dear compatriots!

I sincerely congratulate you on the Day of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan! I express my gratitude to our President, our brave soldiers and officers, thanks to whom we celebrate this day as a heroic people! We celebrate it with our heads held high! Thank you very much for your courage and perseverance! For the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan!

May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs who died in the name of the Motherland. I bow my head to the mothers and fathers who raised such heroes, I wish them patience.

May peace and prosperity always reign in our Motherland!”
