Meeting held in military unit deployed in Azerbaijan's liberated areas

The final meeting on the results of the first quarter of the 2022 training year was held in one of the military units stationed in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

At first, the memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the independence and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with observing a minute of silence. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.

The meeting heard reports on the work and tasks performed throughout the quarter and analyzed the state of combat readiness, logistics, military discipline, and military service.

It was noted that in the military units stationed in the liberated territories construction work was carried out, new military facilities were put into operation, and important steps were taken to improve the social and living conditions of the military personnel.

The instructions of the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, on the implementation of ongoing tasks, as well as increasing the combat capability of units and maintaining a high level of combat readiness in the army under the command of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev were delivered on.

At the end of the meeting, well-disciplined servicemen, who distinguished themselves in military service were awarded honorary diplomas.
