General: Ilham Aliyev’s strong speech in Munich gave enemy message of war

The debate held between Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict at the Munich Security Conference on February 15 is the main topic of the political agenda. These discussions took place with the apparent superiority of President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.

Pashinyan's distortion of historical facts, his inability to speak English properly, and unfounded political analysis made him desperate and ridiculous. Along with representatives of international organizations, Armenian historians and journalists also acknowledge it.

The Munich debate is now the subject of extensive discussion in the Azerbaijani community. But how did the Azerbaijani Army soldiers and officers react to the meeting?

Commenting on the issue, Yashar Aydamirov, a reserve Lieutenant General of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, highly assessed the Munich debate.

Reserve Lieutenant General of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces, Yashar Aydamirov:

"The miserable state of the occupant country's army and its inadequate supply does not allow Pashinyan to act determinedly and reasonably."

Yaşar Aydəmirov

Генерал-лейтенант в запасе Яшар Айдамиров:

"President Ilham Aliyev has held numerous meetings on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference. The head of state also made a persuasive speech during the debates on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. I supposed that Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan would not be able to answer the questions. The miserable state of the occupant country's army and its inadequate supply does not allow Pashinyan to act determinedly and reasonably.

"Each of us felt pride listening to President Ilham Aliyev's speech. His determined statements undoubtedly gave the enemy a message of war," Aydamirov said.

Reserve Colonel Shair Ramaldanov said in a statement to Report that the debate once again proved to whom the occupied lands belong: "Mr. President's speech in the discussion, attended by representatives of international organizations, political experts and historians, demonstrated his high human values. Mostly referring to precise historical facts, the President proved to Pashinyan that these territories belong to Azerbaijan, and we will restore our territorial integrity sooner or later at any cost.

"Based on both history and resolutions of international organizations, the President once again showed that Armenia is an invader.

"President Ilham Aliyev, as a professional politician and experienced head of state, gained a great deal of superiority over the opposite side. Throughout the debate, Pashinyan made politically illiterate excuses, being unable to substantiate his opinions. Even when he tried to do so, he appeared to be a populist referring to false information," Ramaldanov said.

The reserve colonel said that due to the Munich debate, the international organizations saw the gap between the sides.

Reserve Colonel Shair Ramaldanov:

"I believe no other factor can inspire the Azerbaijani soldiers and officers as much as this."

Полковник запаса Шаир Рамалданов:

According to him, expressing Azerbaijan's position in his speech, Ilham Aliyev, as a Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, also gave an order to the entire army: "The order is that the army must always be ready to liberate our lands!"

"The result of the dialogue showed that everyone in the Armed Forces, says: 'We are waiting for the order. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces can receive a command to liberate the occupied lands anytime.'

"I believe no other factor can inspire the Azerbaijani soldiers and officers as much as this."

"The Supreme Commander-in-Chief announced that we would liberate our lands. With its activities, participation in international military competitions and drills, the Azerbaijani Army also confirms its readiness to fight," said the reserve colonel.
