"Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2019" Azerbaijan-Turkey joint live-fire drills are being held in line with the agreement on military cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, Report informs citing Colonel Ilgar Latifov, who heads the exercises from the Azerbaijani side.

According to him, more than 100 personnel, about 60 units of military equipment, 30 artillery units, nearly 20 combat helicopters and other military equipment have been involved in tactical exercises: "One of the main tasks set by the leadership is the organization of management and interaction of the armies of both states."

The exercises that started on May 1 will end today.
