Azerbaijani, Turkish defense ministers talk over phone

On March 12, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and the Minister of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, Hulusi Akar, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.

Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov congratulated Hulusi Akar on his 70th birthday, wished him good health, long life, and further success in the development of the Turkish Armed Forces.

The sides discussed regional security, as well as the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral military cooperation.
