Azerbaijani defense minister meets chief of General Staff of Turkiye

Within the framework of the 4th Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2022 held at the Baku Expo Center on September 6, the Minister of Defense of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov, met with the Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Yasar Guler, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.

The officials discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkiye in the fields of regional security, military-technical, military education and military medicine, and organization of mutual visits, as well as other issues of interest.

The parties emphasized the importance of using technological innovations in joint military exercises.
