Azerbaijani and Turkish defense ministers hold telephone conversation

Azerbaijan's Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, and Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar held a telephone conversation on January 12, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Defense.

Akar expressed condolences over the death of an Azerbaijani service member as a result of a provocation committed by Armenian armed forces in the Kalbajar direction of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border on January 11.

He said that the Turkish Armed Forces are next to Azerbaijan in its just cause, as they have always been.
