Azerbaijan to participate in NATO-Georgia 2025 military exercise

Azerbaijan will take part in the NATO-Georgia 2025 military exercise.

According to Report, the exercise will commence on April 28 at the Krtsanisi base (Training and Military Education Support Centre "Krtsanisi") and the NATO-Georgian Joint Training and Evaluation Centre (JTEC).

The purpose of the maneuver is to showcase the capabilities of the JTEC and to test brigades composed mainly of Georgian and some international military personnel.

Countries confirmed to participate include Azerbaijan, Albania, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Türkiye, and the US, with Armenia attending as an observer.

The exercise will be led by the Florence Command of the Vittorio Veneto Division of the Italian Armed Forces, which was recently appointed as the leader of NATO's Southern Multinational Division. The exercise will conclude on May 8.

This maneuver was first held in 2016, and this year marks its fourth iteration.
