Azerbaijan and Turkey launch main stage of joint live-fire drills

"Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2019" Azerbaijan-Turkey joint live-fire drills are being held in line with the agreement on military cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey.

Report informs that the exercises that started on May 1 will end today.

Notably, the main purpose of the exercises is to develop joint plans of the headquarters, to increase the level of combat readiness of the personnel, to achieve coordination of mutual activity of Azerbaijani and Turkish military units through developing skills to carry out joint operations, as well as to maintain at a high level of mutual relations and understating between the military men of the two countries by exchanging experiences.
