NTRC persists in  taking back money issued to ITV and ANS

Baku. 3 December. REPORT.AZ/ Problem arising between National Television and Radio Council (NTRC) and ANS Independent Broadcasting Media Company, Public Television and Radio Broadcasting Company regarding serials made for funds allocated from state budget continues.

Organization is persistent in requirement for complying absolutely with contract terms, namely presentation of mentioned serials to NTRC, Report was told by Toghrul Mammadov, Apparatus Head of NTRC: 'ANS television mentioned duration of each sequel of serial produced under contract one hour. But duration of each sequel of serial presented to us under different name and long after mentioned date is 35 minutes. ANS TV states that name and duration of presented serial is different as for technical error in the report made regarding serial.

NTRC do not believe that ANS made technical error, T.Mammadov says.

ITV claims that made 'Karabakhname' serial for funds allocated from state budget, he said: 'ITV states that it has produced serial, but do not present to us any film. NTRC is determined to take back funds allocated for both TV channels. Allocated funds either will be returned to state budget or spent on producing new serial.'

NTRC requires 429 thousand manats from allocated funds from state budget for ITV and 160 thousand manats for ANS to make serials.
