Draft law "On Media" discussed 

The draft law "On Media" was discussed at the Media Development Agency on September 6.

Report informs, citing the Agency, executive Director of eth Agency Ahmad Ismayilov informed about the activities of the Agency and the measures taken to fulfill the obligations arising from the charter. The Executive Director spoke about the importance of discussions of the draft law "On Media."

Then Ragsana Karimova, head of the Department of Law at the Media Development Agency, presented the bill. She informed the participants about media entities (audiovisual, print and online media entities, news agencies), requirements for information disseminated in the media, use of information of a media outlet, media registry, and other provisions of the bill.

Later on, the discussions and exchange of views continued, and several questions were answered.
