Azerbaijani journalists taught to drive properly in Ankara

Training on "Military Journalism" organized by the Anadolu Agency, the Turkish International Cooperation and Development Agency (TIKA), the Turkish Police Academy, and the Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (MEDIA) continue in Ankara, Turkey.

According to Report, on the fourth day of the training, participants were taught how to drive a car during the war at the Turkish Police Academy.

Twenty-four journalists from Azerbaijan participated in the trainings.

The trainings, which will last until August 20, will provide participants with information on journalism, personal security, the law of war, first aid, rules of conduct during war, survival in water, protection against the use of chemical and biological weapons, emergency response and other topics. About 60 percent of the lessons are practical and teach journalists how to deal with the challenges and threats they face in crisis, natural disasters, and war zones. In addition, media representatives will take part in the training in high-risk areas.

Journalists who excel in the training program will be awarded the internationally recognized "Military Journalism Certificate."

Ismayil Nasibli, an employee of the Report News Agency, is also taking part in the training.
